Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide with a disaccharide repeating unit composed of D-glucoronic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucoseamine in ß(1-3) linkage.
Each disaccharide unit is attached to the next by ß(1-4) linkages. Hyaluronic acid is a linear polymer.
