Features: OPS is mainly used for diagnosis and programming BMW vehicles after E65 series.
OPS unit with DIS software is used for diagnosis, which is carried out via OBD-II socket .OPS unit with SSS software is used for programming, which is carried out via OBD-II socket and MOST sockets.
The optical programming system (OPS) for programming vehicles is handled in exactly the same way as the OPPS. The connection is effected simultaneously to the OBD II socket and also to the MOST fiber-optic access in the vehicle. The connection to the workshop network is effected via network cable to a free network connection.
Like the OPPS,
the OPS does not have an air interface, as the high bandwidth required for programming can currently only be achieved by means of a cable connection.
Suitable: 1.Diagnosing and programming all the BMW vehicle with OBD II.2.unavailable for the BMW vehicles with 20 pins before 2000.Testable system:
1. OPS Orange Multiplexer.
2. OBD-II diagnostic cable.
3. LAN cable.
4. MOST cable.
5. DIS HD for IBM T22/T30 Laptop
6. SSS HD for IBM T30 Laptop
7. TIS DVD Attention: E60, E65, E70, E87, E90 have both OBD-II socket and Most socket. Software: the same with GT1 (DIS, SSS).
